Happy Monday, friends!
How is it Monday already? While I'm not quite ready for the week ahead, fortunately, I had a lot of fun and found a little color around the city this past weekend to tide me over 'til the next weekend.
Recently, I had the opportunity to shoot with the amazing and talented Christina Hanks for the first time. During our photo shoot in Chinatown, we stumbled upon one of the Color Factory neighborhood murals. The Color Factory, for those of you who are unfamiliar, is a 12,000 sq. ft. pop-up exploring color as an experience. While it's currently sold-out, they've decided to extend the pop-up through September and tickets will be going on sale shortly. Check-out my upcoming post for a look inside the Color Factory.
The mural, located on the corner of Grant Ave. and Vinton Ct. in the alley, was still being painted when we came upon it. Somehow, even though the paint was still wet when we took the photos, my clothes and I both remained unscathed.
In today's look, I'm wearing a staple in my wardrobe, my favorite little black romper. When I'm at a complete loss for what to wear to work, I pull out this LBR, pair it with my favorite faux leather jacket and suede mules, for an understated yet sophisticated look. This romper transitions perfectly from day to night. After work, remove your outer layer to reveal the surprise peekaboo back and pop on a pair of earrings and you're happy hour or Tinder date ready ;) The accessories are from my trial of Rent the Runway Unlimited. If you haven't heard of Rent the Runway (RTR) or RTR Unlimited, I'll be doing a full review in a post soon. In the meantime, rent your first dress or accessory and get a nice discount by signing-up with my personal code here.
Do you wear rompers to work? If so, how do you style them? Outfit details below.
