My Two-Year Shazamiversary

CORI LOOK 1-6.jpg

Today is my two-year Shazamiversary. That's 24 months, 104 weeks, 480 days, 3,840 hours, 208, 800 minutes, and 12,528,000 seconds. Many of us spend a significant amount of time at work and I couldn't have asked for a better team to share my time with.

Can I get really real for a minute? I almost didn't apply to my current role for fear that I wasn't ready, would 💣 the interview, and that I didn't "check all the boxes". Now, as I reflect on the interview process, I realize how unnecessarily hard I was on myself. Not only did I beat out other applicants who had more experience than me, I've had the opportunity to grow and lead growth initiatives at an amazing company alongside amazing people. So, if you're reading this and you're thinking of applying for a job and are a bit hesitant, go for it. Who knows where you could end up in a year or in my case, two.

As women, I don't think we take enough time to reflect on or talk about our successes. Looking back, my team and I have been able to accomplish a lot in a year. Below are some of the products I'm most proud to have shipped in the last year:

Shoutout to my Shazamily and here's to the future and beyond.
